How do I create a Desktop Weblink?

Like we download from Pinstack? Know what I mean? For the BlackBerry, it's not really a "program" it's a browser launch link.

I'm developing a mobile site for a convention I'm helping organize and I'd like to offer a download homepage icon for the conference attendees.

Can anyone help me with this?

It may not be a "program" but it is an application. I'm not sure how to create it but I imagine it can be done using the Blackberry Java development environment. I believe that there is a third party app that lets you set up a link, but I have never used it.
