    Smile Help a firefighter out?

I was wondering if anybody knew of software for the blackberry that can create a firefighter shift calendar (I have an 8700g). The way our shifts work is there is red, black, and gold. For example today is black shift, tomorrow red shift, then gold. What I would like to do is color each day with the correlating shift and be able to enter comments/notes. With the blackberry calendar software the best I was able to do is enter a new appointment which is recurring every 3 days. This will make the selected shift (black for example) day appear in bold. However if I were to add the other shifts they would all be bold in the same color. I don't believe there is a way to do this with the blackberry software but perhaps there is other calendar software I'm not aware of that can. Obviously it would be great if it were freeware but I'm willing to spare a few dollars for a good program. The closest thing I was able to find was BBShiftCal by Gasda Software. This program almost does everything I want but you aren't able to click on the days to enter notes. It basically is a bunch of images for each month. I'm hoping there's already a calendar software that is capable of doing this but I haven't been able to find one. Any help will be greatly appreciated. THANKS!!!!

the way you could do this is go to 4.5 which has the ablity to color code each appointment. draw back is that 8700 is not supported for 4.5 software.... you will need something in the 8100, 8300, 8200, 9000 series..... sorry

can use the bb one like the one user said or can look at em links here they might not wanna do right what u want but can get u started and maybe work with it

    http://www.gwhizmobile.com/Desktop/got-2overview.php - free one

    http://www.pocketday.com/pktday.htm - pay

    http://software.crackberry.com/produ...e-Mobile-Tasks - pay

    http://store.handmark.com/p/2182/Tas...Berry/-?src=sc - pay

    another one - http://www.iambic.com/agendus/blackberry/

also on the blackberry calendar if u open it click the menu button(button with bb logo) and go to options and click on general options and under view u will see initial view change it to week and then it will ask to save save it all u will have to exit right out the blackberry calendar and then go back into it and pick the days and fill in the info and can set a color well should be able to with the diff emails which sucks but um yea if u do all that and go back and look at the calendar u will see the days but ya proly to much work and will not do what u want cuz they have it so it goes off the emails for the colours

The Blackberry Shift Calendar is a simple monthly view of a Firefighters platoon style shift calendar. You will find the layout very similar to the paper calendar's you are already used to. You can advance through the months, even show shifts years from now. No more waiting for next years calendar to be printed when your trying to schedule the vacations in the beginning of the year. Not yet...

I definitely appreciate the effort but as I said in my post BBShiftCal is the closest thing to what I desire however you can't click on the individual days to enter notes/appointments/etc... Thanks for the effort though

I to have been looking for something with no luck. But what I do is use
A B C for shifts. I'm A shift so every third day it shows A. Now I'm using the Storm
So I can open dates and edit or add notes. I'm not familiar with the 8700 but I
Did the same thing with the pearl. What I'd like to see is an app that would
Allow you to add icons to appointments instead of just looking
    At little limes.
