| gotmail AOL email client
I have a Blackberry 7250. I recently downloaded gotmail from handango so I can receive and write from my AOL account. Worked fine for about two weeks,...now I get UNKNOWN error every time I try to access the mail. The handango site says this is a known problems the're working on and suggest uninstalling and reinstalling the software. I tried to unstill the software using my desktop manager, and it appears to work, but the software ICON still appears on my blackberry and when I click the software still appears to be there, although I still get UNKNOWN error whenever I try to do anything with it. They suggest also a soft reset, which I understand is CONTROL-SHIFT DELETE, but I can't figure out what CONTROL is supposed to be on they blackberry keyboard. Does anybody know? Also, does anybody have a better suggestion for software for the 7250 that will allow me to get my AOL mail? Thanks. |

AOL has a funky way of packaging their mail. If you are having trouble receiving mail from an AOL user, ask them to send non HTML or Plain text messages. You may be able to forward your AOL account to the BWC and have it route to your BB. I'm not too sure on how AOL accounts work with that. |
