Hey fellow stackers Google mobile apps voice search has been updated from 3.4.14 to 3.4.16 this now supports the 9630 Tour. I was having problems with the voice search and stumble on this. I downloaded it again and notice the change. Go here http://www.google.com/mobile/product...l#p=blackberry to get the latest version.

Thanks for the update. Going to go update mine now. I'd love to see an app that scans all of my other apps and checks for updates automatically. I would definitely pay for that.

I updated on the Bold a couple of days ago, when it rebooted it got stuck on the white screen. Did a battery pull and after 5 mins came back, but it was scary for a while

All ok now, and the new Google search is working fine

It's funny how Google Mobile App can detect updates for GMail, Maps, and Sync but not for itself.

Question: I have icons for Gmail, gmaps, and google mobile apps. In applications, can I delete Gmail and gmaps and still have them available in google mobile apps? I am trying to clean up my 8130 pearl.

No the only way you can delete the icons is to remove the applications, which you don't want to do because then you can't use them. I would suggest hide the GMail and Maps icon if you don't want to see them.
