yes, you need to enter the APN settings, at options -> advanced -> TCP
These settings are provided by your carrier. Call them and ask for them.
As for Google Talk you will need 3rd party like JiveTalk.
In order to use the RIM developed gtalk you will need a BIS plan with a servicebook entry for it.

Thanks for the answer! I`ve the apn configured. I probe it with opera mini and works fine, but the blackberrys navigator and OTA not works with gprs

I dont have any servicebook entry (I dont know if this is relevant).

I try to use RIM's gtalk and not connect (as you say). I'll download JiveTalk and, if its works, I'll buy it.

I can't use OTA so i download .cod for google mobile updater and install it. Then I install Gmail from the updater tool. The application works fine, but not check mail in background, I changed the config, and marked the option "Preload messages and check mail in the background", but this not refresh the inbox (not works with gprs?)

One more question, its posible use OTA without data plan? (I only have gprs connection, my mobile provider dont have BIS yet)

PD: Sorry for my poor (or pathetic) english.

Yes you can use OTA, there is a workarround, download the files to your computer, place them on your memory card.

Now use the media player, explore, browse to the jar / jad file, open it.

Regarding the use of browser without BIS, thats not possible , you need a BB Data plan for browser to work.

For the gmail auto refresh, I have no clue, there is a option that allows it to check in the background, but i've never experienced that it don't work....

Yes, I try that option, but over internet its not possible!

But, thanks for all! I'll investigate the gmail problem (i think that the background check only works with data plan).

    Thanks again!

Mmm, I was wrong. It's works, check the mail in background, but the interval is too long (about 20-30 minutes), this is normal?
