full mp3 songs

my 8700c can now play full mp3 songs since i installed j2mestreaming java app.it would stop playing before after a few seconds now i can even save mp3 4.5 mb in size to tunes or message list and it plays the songs all the way through can somebody else try this..

im using the blackberry player to play the songs if the songs dont play i play the j2mestreaming audio demo then hit the phone end buttun and go back to the file and it plays all the way though.

can you post a link where I can find this j2mestreaming? Also any other similar programs you know of would be great considering I'm in the music profession.

I need someone with an 8700 to run a test for me to see if the new BIS is allowing these to run or if it's the actual program itself installed on the device?

If I am not mistaken, last I knew you couldn't download over 500kb mp3's into the media player, however as posted above, he is right...I am downloading 1042kb songs onto the player and they are playing...

Someone with an 8700 please try to go to this site on your BB browser and let me know if it loads for you:

I haven't installed the prog yet but I'm still going to try it, I've browsed other post and one guy was sayin it's always worked for him. So I'm going to try with out it.

Ok. Going to have to play with this a little tomorrow and see if BIS 2.1 is allowing this or if its this program. I was just able to email myself a 3423.27kb mp3 and get it to successfully download and play. Interesting.

get a freeware mp3 to amr converter full songs are only about 200kb in size once converted to amr format that gives a lot more space on the bb for songs the sound quality is not as good as mp3 but ok for just lisening or working out a song.then email them to yourself or put them on a site so you can download them to to the message list..

Does this app run separately from the AudioPlayer used to download ringtones? If not and I install it, does it still allow saving ringtones to the Profiles list?

yes it runs seperate .if you get stops in your mp3 open up j2mestreaming and play the demo amr file.once the demo amr file gets to 11 click trackwheel hit stop then replay when the demo is finished hit your call end button on your bb go back to the mp3 and see if it works

you should if it is java based but your bb has to have a audio player that will play mp3 at least ringtones
