I wish there was a quick way to audition the colors, and... Is there a way to automatically view mail with BMail without having to first go to the menu to select "BMail View"? Thanks

I have another graphic idea. I dislike how the "link" and "show" clickables look. Is there a way to make them look like a button or something? I visualize a button the shape of rounded rectangle.

I appreciate all your free work.
The graphic stuff is (or should be) easy with the BlackBerry API. Let us look into it.

We had the same problem with our ex-Pearl Sure, we can look into keystrokes -- but you will probably eventually have to have the trackball fixed or find a new phone!

Altering the properties of email itself is a far bigger problem that we will leave up to other people

Auditioning the colors should not be difficult. Let us look into that.

Regarding being the default viewer, here is what we wrote in an earlier post:

After all, they bought the BlackBerry for a reason. An example is our thinking on attachments. We don't want to replace BlackBerry's attachment service with what will inevitably be an inferior version.
Of course, if sufficiently many people want it, then we will do it. We just wouldn't use that functionality ourselves

It's a matter of choice. Whether you or anyone uses this or any third-party email viewer on the BlackBerry is up to you/them.

You can open the BMail application directly, or you can open the BlackBerry email screen and select "BMail View" from the menu.

People seem to want BMail to be their default viewer, so we will look into providing the ability to add (and remove!) BMail as your default email viewer.

I think it will be great if you can make BMail View as the default application.

Without any email viewing programs, I can use 4 and 6 for previous and next items in my message folder. Now I have to go back and select everytime if I want to use the BMail.

I combine my Emails and SMS in the same message folder, so I found out if I try to use BMail to open a SMS, I will get the following error message: Uncaught exception:java.lang.ClassCast Exception.

All I am is curious without having to install first. Can't blame me for not wanting to brick my phone with an Alpha. Just want to know what's in the water before jumping into them. That- should always be respected.
