    Question Free Alarm

Ok, everyone knows that with the built in alarm you can't only set one, well, alarm.

I've searched the forums and the only 'free' app I found was MyAlarm, which IMHO isn't very good. . .at all, in any way. . .

The 'best' one I've found is Mobylo's MultiAlarm, which rocks but costs $30, come on!

Anyone know of a great free alarm where you can have more then 1 alarm but not pay $30??

    Thanks,

    Re: Free Alarm

I'm wasn't able to find any free alarm apps, but if you are wiling to take a bit of setup time, I use my calender's alarm. You just have to set up all of your calender appointments ahead of time and set the calender alert for each one. A bit of a hassle with the initial setup but once you got it setup it's good to go. Probably an easier way, tho.

I agree. This is exactly what I do. I am a student, and use my phone to wake me up in the morning. I set my alarms once as calendar events and set it for MWF or TR - whatever days I need. I also like to snooze, so instead of trying to navigate that when I'm half asleep (and so I won't just turn the alarm off), I set alarms every 10 minutes for a half hour or so. I use the "ringer_tinkerbell" (or another real loud alarm) which is so loud and annoying that I never sleep through the alarm.

You can also set all of the alarms you want through the calendar in outlook and just sync it, which might be easier.

This system works perfect for me. I like how I don't have to set 7 alarms the night before, I can just set it once and know its going to go off. $30 seems kind of steep for something I can accomplish my adapting the apps I already have.

    Re: Free Alarm

Blackberry REALLY needs to address this issue. We need more than one alarm. Most of the other phones I've had (both cheap and expensive) have several including an easy to use count-down for short timer events.

    There's a thread for BB improvements: http://blackberryforums.pinstack.com...ggestions.html

if you want to contribute to that. Alarm, among other things, is in there.

You can search for either "MyAlarm"(free) app or "BBSmart Alarms Pro" ($15)...

Right now I use MyAlarms and I like it but it seems relatively unreliable for me. It only vibrates once to wake up and I'm pretty sure sometimes the sound doesn't go off. I'm testing the trial version (10 days) of BBSmart Alarms now....

Thumbs up free alarm program for blackberry!

I (like most of you) am tired of only 1 alarm option for my blackberry pearl 8100. I went on a search today and found an awesome FREE program that you can download and it gives you 6 (yes, i said 6) other alarms...you can choose what day of the week, your own ringtones already IN your phone etc...awesome. here's the link.
