| Found a Solution to Xplayer Backlight Issue....
We all know that Xplayer allows the backlight to go off when watching a video. Causing the player to look weird and malfunctioned when you get the screen back. Well I found a solution until they fix this issue: 1. Turn off password protect from your BB, disable it when watching a video (same as stock BB media player) 2. Download BBLight. Check off the boxes next to On User Activity and on remove from holster. Next, hit the BB button and select activate. Then hit the BB button and hit save. 3. Go to Xplayer and watch your video without having to worry about the backlight turning off. Now its absolutely perfect for watching movies. That's all it takes. I got it up and running perfectly without the backlight turning off in Xplayer. It should work for all of you, as everyone has this issue with Xplayer. |

I guess this wasn't the solution as I thought it was. I went home and put a longer video into my MicroSd and played it with Xplayer. At about 30 minutes or so the backlight went out as usual and a few seconds later came back on by itself (I guess BBLight did this), it kept on doing this for the rest of the time. And like usual the Xplayer frame was all screwed up. Now when I do it it goes out like usual with the timing on the BB. So this doesn't work. I wish they would fix this issue already. Its a PITA for a media player to do this, until they fix this Im deleting Xplayer and sticking to the stock one. As it is better. |

I was that close, it was working earlier I don't know what happened. I didn't mess with all the options in BBLight, probably that could of changed something. But honestly I got frustrated after it started to resort back to the old ways, that I didn't feel like dealing with it. But yeah they need to fix this soon but they don't have a date for a new release with a fix. Sad but what could you do. And I did try but it sucks it didn't work out. I thought boredom + class + an idea solved this. lol.
