    Re: flipside question

Have Flipside find the album art for you. It might now be able to connect what you have. Flipside actually finds them pretty quick and it hasn't been wrong for me yet.

    Re: flipside question

    it gives me an error,

The application flipside has attempted to open a connection to a location inside the firewall and outside the firewall which is not allowed by your it policy

i dont have an it policy

also like i said, i already have the album art, whats required to make flipside recognize that?

Sounds to me like your firewall might be set. You can check it by going to Options->Security Options-> Firewall. Other than than, maybe deleting, a battery pull, then reinstalling might help.

I am not sure what you can do to get Flipside to recognize your Album Art other than emailing Electric Pocket.

    Mods: Any ideas?

That is way weird. My guess is that you'll hafta call your carrier to have them release it.

Did you buy this BB from eBay? It sounds like you do have an IT policy. You're not on a company BES, are you? There is a procedure to remove an old IT policy as long as you are not attached to a company BES server.

    Re: flipside question

no i got it used but it has had BIS but never been on a BES. i also bought an 8800 that HAD been on a BES but i did that procedure to remove the IT policy. on the 8800 the firewall is locked to enabled as well.

there was a key combination B U Y something that i put in one time under status to see if IT policy was active on the 8300 and it was. i cant remember what the combo was...
