Mine was still set to on and my app on my bb is still not updating or sending notifications to my phone~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

i went on the blackberry owners lounge site and was bout to once again dl facebook. the instructions said to make sure your email for facebook is the one assocciated with the blackberry. so i switched my FB emil to from my windows live to my Tmo.blackberry.net email. instantly i started getting notifictions on my phone. and because of hat for some strange reason the myspace app on my bb started working too!! HAPPY HAPPY JOY JOY!!!!

There is no 1.3 version of this app. I went to upgrade and got 1.2 which is what I had before.

I have the 1.3 and there is no difference but ill tell you what the Myspace App is killng the facebook app so facebook needs to come out with a update real soon ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

I'm on 4.6 here via 9000. I have 1.2. Tried downloading, still comes up as 1.2... Strange.

If you read through the thread you will see that 1.3 was available, but pulled and set back to 1.2 I downloaded 1.3 before they pulled it and there was no difference that I could see between the two.

im completly convinced tht 1.3 was pulled hours after release. i was able to dl 1.3 and lost my notifiction ability. other than that there really was nothing new from what i noticed. redownloaded 1.2 now only to see its like 1.3 never existed

they pulled it. i'm not sure why just like they pulled the myspace app after it launched.

now that you mentioned your notifications, i recently was able to snag 1.3 and now i noticed that i get the notifications but my LED doesnt blink red or i do not get a sound notification, maybe thats what is wrong with 1.3

I upgraded to 1.3 and now Im not receiving any FB messages on the app. I downgraded to 1.2 n the problem still persist. I've deleted it and reinstalled.
I set ma notification settings to 'NO' loong time ago coz I dint want to receive email on my yahoo account but I still received messages on the facebook app with no probs at all. So I set ma FB notifications settings to 'YES' and now I'm receiving notifications on ma yahoo account . If I replace my yahoo email with my blackberry email as suggested, then it means that I'd be getting notifications on my att.blackerry email but not on the facebook app. I read somewhere that I should resend my service book but I've never had a facebook service book on my berry (8310 att).
Any other suggestion?
