Well, if you use your facebook data to update(or create new contacts via fb 1.5) your present BB contacts with your facebook pics and names outlook can not convert facebook thus no contact sync.

I had the same problem. Tried to sync with my outlook after linking the facebook contact to the bb contact (outlook contact), wouldn't accept the sync. It wouldn't sync any of the contacts that were not linked to facebook. It stopped the process completely, no calender, tasks or memo sync.

I uninstalled facebook 1.5, then reinstalled it, same problem. The link was still in the contact on the blackberry. Outlook still wouldn't accept the sync. I even told facebook 1.5 not to link with contacts when I reinstalled it.

The only way I could get my contacts to sync again was to go through the facebook app and remove the link to the contacts, each and every one of them.

Once the link was removed, outlook synced with the blackberry. The one nice thing is that the pictures from the facebook link were not removed when the link was removed. Now all the current pictures from facebook are now in my contacts in outlook.

It's a compatibility issue that will be resolved, hopefully, in the future by the software maker.

I've been very skeptical about Facebook since day1!
Always something bad going on there.
sql injection, privacy, virus laden web pages, bots, etc, etc,.............

It's simply not worth it to me.

Is it just me or is anyone else having a problem getting their "inbox messages" from facebook? I was getting the wall posts etc just fine and then randomly logged into gmail from the web to realize that I had messages from people in my facebook inbox that didn't even bother to show up anywhere on my phone...

Just don't click on anything that looks questionable.

Unless you think the whole site is questionable, lol.

I had removed the link to Facebook contacts, but still can't sync. There must be one more step you must have done that you didn't mentioned.

If you used the facebook app to add new ppl to ur bb contacts, you'll have to delete em first before you can sync... Atleast that's what happen with me...
