I forwarded this to a colleague with an 8300 and he had the following error when he tried to open it
    jBerryJo: Module 'net_rim_xml_org' not found.D

Anyone else seen this. It works perfectly on my Bold?

Which BB OS does your friend have? (Settings --> Options --> About)

If its 4.2 then he will need to update his OS to 4.5. But I don't know if it is available for 8300 series.

    Best Regards,

Hi visionthing, thank you for replying, I have asked my friend to check out the OS. He may be running 4.2 as he has an older 8300. I will get my daughter to try this out as she is running a fairly recent OS on an 8300, I'll let you know if it works.

Unfortunately this is a limitation from Blackberry themselves and there is

The app is developed so that you can edit an email before you reply or forward. It does not carry any attachments over. The developer is working on that issue with RIM.

    http://forums.pinstack.com/f227/blackberry_os_4_5_upgrade_support-76342/

So here is my step by step. (DO NOT connect blackberry until point 5)

    (1) Install the latest desktop manager

    (2) Restarted pc.

    (3) Install os 4.5.... for your model phone.

    (4) When the installation get to finish (DO NOT click finish yet). Delete the vendor.xml file using

    C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader

    (5) Connect bb

    (6) Check the box for start desktop manager press finish.

    (7) It will start loading. Make sure to check all the boxes for your apps to install and keep.

OS 4.5 comes with some extra features like ex. video camera, etc.
