Erica, are you aksing me or telling me?

CrackMem will work on any OS from 4.2.1.xxx up to 4.5.0.55 on any 8xxx series BlackBerry. It has NOT been tested on any other models or OSs.

Please do not use CrackMem on the 7100t as I have no idea what may happen.

Again, please read the help text where this is explained.

    Bump for Version 3.1

I personally don't use this, as I delete the cod files myself. However, this could be immensely useful for a lot of people.

I downloaded this for my boss to use today to get ride of his voice-activated dialing that continues to give him problems and as soon as he tried to run the program, it told him no OS found. I tried numerous things and could not get the program to work.

He's running a Curve 4.3 OS on Windows XP w/ DM 4.6 and nothing I did got the program to recognize the device and allow him to remove VAD.

KD78, are you trying to remove VAD straight off of his Blackberry?

This is meant to edit a new OS file, and then load that edited OS onto your Blackberry.

Well we never even got anywhere with the software. One of the options is to "Remove VAD". Does the software not do that as it appears?

It essential removes the VAD cod file from the java folder of an OS installed onto the computer. You remove the cod files that you do not want (such as VAD) and THEN you load the OS onto the Blackberry.
