    Convenience Software wants YOU!-r suggestions

    Hey guys,
In the next couple of weeks Convenience Software will be in the process of development of the newest version of our BlackBerry finding software FindIt 3.0. In the process, FindIt will be renamed SeekIt (though other suggestions are welcome) and we will be adding a few new features including a web interface that we hope will make it even easier to find your BlackBerry. In the process we will also be redesigning our website. The purpose of this post, is to garner any suggestions that you might have for features that you would like to see in SeekIt (or any other names you think would be more appropriate).
    Thanks guys,
    The Convenience Software Team

I like FindIt better, much better. "Seek" doesn't have the implicit implication that you will "Find" it, and so is not going to be a great name. Moreover, you already have an established brand. You best TM it though.

I'd rather see you clean up the GUI and make the look and feel better.

Ok, having now finally "tested" the GPS tag, I'd like to see FindIt use Google Maps, not Yahoo Maps. Google maps are so much more up to date, and already the BB standard. If nothing else, allow the user to select which one they want to have the email link formated to go to.

The difference in quality between Yahoo and Google maps is enormous.

    Absolutely correct ...ON ALL COUNTS!

Not everyone --myself, for instance-- has GPS, nor does everyone upgrade to new equipment simply because it is out (and I wouldn't, even if I could).

If you're still taking suggestions, a remote wipe feature would be appreciated
