    Changing LED Light

Hey I remember a few days ago my battery was going dead (first time in 2 months that its ever done that). Anyway, as my battery faded the LED light which usually blinks red, began to blink a green light. Now I'm wondering if this is customizable on the 8330 as well as other color options?

I believe there is a program out there. You can go to handango and find it. However, do note that you will not be able to change the trackball color, only the LED in the upper right hand corner.

So I have to use an app to customize the LED? That's kind of a downer... But I guess its not that bad?

I have the Vzw 8330 and use an app called Blackberry Alerts. You can purchase from Handango.com for $12. It lets you customize the colors for email, sms, mms, pin, voice mail, calendar, and you can also set a reminder tone for missed calls/messages. For example, you want it to play a tone every 2 minutes after you miss a call. I believe there's a 7-day trial. This is definitely one of my favorite apps.

I tried blackberry alerts and it won't give me an option to use my own ringtones and everytime the led goes on I have to go to the program to shut it off, not automaticley like the original red led light. Very inconvient.~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

Actually it's not any trouble at all ~ BB Alerts is by far my favorite app and has been on ALL my BB's
I love this app and the alert led tells me exactly what type of message I have waiting if I can't get
    to my BB right away.

    Well worth the money spent.

There seems to be several BB alerts out there, which one do you have Lavagirl? I'm looking at a BB Alerts 1.3 now..
