Can I Force Certain Callers to Voice Mail?

So I have this really annoying client who unfortunately has my cell number. And if they can't reach me at the office for the most insignificant question, they routinely call the cell next and then email to call urgently, even after being told I'm in a meeting and will call back later.

Is there any way to automatically direct their calls (but not all calls) to voicemail, so only THEIR calls don't ring?

you could add a profile exception?
go to profiles, scroll to advanced. then choose menu/new exception
then add name and choose quiet profile?
i know it doesn't make it go straight to vm, but it will alleviate the ring/tone and you won't know unless you are looking at it

You could also sign up to Youmail.com. Its free and you can have all sorts of numbers screened and blocked for free.

I use Black&WhiteList and love it. It's simple to add numbers to the black list and you never have to hear from them again.............unless they leave a message, which they usually don't.

Can you tell me more about the Black and White list?

    Is it add-on software?

I like the idea of black and white... but I'm allergic to paying for software.

Here's the link. It's well worth the price to get rid of annoying phone calls.

Not to get OT (but I'm going to anyway ) have you noticed more battery drain using Black list, or maybe it's just me.

I'm a big fan of the profile exceptions. At work, my phone has a profile which allows only those callers I choose to have a real ringtone. The rest all have a blank MP3 so I'm not bothered. Really cuts down on those annoying interruptions.

I'm not a big fan of ideas like Grand Central as you lose control over things. What happens if they start charging? If you've used it for long enough, you're going to almost have to pay whatever they ask just to keep everything running smoothly.

Personally, if I can keep as much control over things, while still accomplishing my goals, I'm happy...
    As always, just my opinion...

I downloaded Black and White list... Its neat and well integrated into the OS... but if my trial runs out then I'll stop using it. Paying for software is not my cup of tea. I've been happy with a blank mp3 ringtone so far and I'm pretty sure I'll be happy with it later too. Plus it doesn't tell me that I can only put 5 folks on my list... Not that I need to have that many on my list anyway.
