    Can anyone help?

"Blackberry maps is now available for DL OTA on all devices running 4.1 os. It's been installed it on both a 7105t and 8700g. The address is www.blackberry.com/maps just thought I'd share with ya. Enjoy "

The above is from a previous thread.

I installed this and now I cannot uninstall it. I have tried using the Advanced Options/Applications removal method. I don't have anything that says "map" or "Blackberry Map" under my applications.

If anyone can help I would surely appreciate it.
    Thank you in advance,
    Riverman.

    Try this:

    Options>
    Advanced Options>
    Applications>
    Hit menu>
select modules and search for the application and delete it from there.

    Check out the modules.
While in Applications go to the menu and select modules. Look for the modules for it and delete.

I've used and deleted the application not too long ago.
It may not sound helpful, but the application is under a different name in Application menu. I mean it sounds nowhere near map related. Try looking for a different name that you never had before on your device before. Chances are... That might be it!

If you look under applications under the advanced options choice, the maps program is listed as LBS 1.0.70. At least that is how it is listed on my 7100i.

    Re: Can anyone help?

    THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!
I found the modules. The first time I tried to uninstall this I saw "lbs" under the applications. After I removed it, it was still there. I didn't realize that modules can still exist after "removing" an app.
Now I wonder how many other modules are there that I don't use (from previously removed stuff). .
    Thanks again to everyone!

    Peace,
    Riverman
