| Boopsie updated and call for channels
We updated Boopsie to version 2.0.24. It is a bit faster (hard to believe) and supports Local APN settings to increase throughput - especially on Verizon and ATT devices. (See the Settings dialog - you must have a TCP APN set to use the 'Local APN' setting). Download it directly from your BlackBerry browser by going to http://boopsie.com We are also looking for suggestions on new channels to add. If you have things you would like to access thru Boopsie's interface, please email them to developers@boopsie.com Here are some recently posted New Channels: Sportsline College Basketball The Sports Network College Basketball New International Version NIV Bible (Full text) digFoot - social network finder eHow - How to... Golf.com - course finder Google Suggest and Yahoo Suggest - if you are using Google or Yahoo on mobile, this supports Google and Yahoo's auto-complete as well as open text input (in other words, you might use this instead of going to Google.com/xhtml or Yahoo! directly. LiveNation Concert Search People2People - dating Pottery Barn Catalog Recipes from MyRecipes.com Wikipedia Dutch Updated Zagat restaurant search Fixes: You can now edit text by scrolling left/right in the search box by using the 'pearl' style scroller - who knows how we missed this in the past. Hey Greg, Thanks for posting this. I would like to request a "biodiesel" channel for one of my bands touring the country on a biodiesel bus in 2008. It would be great to find gas stations on the tour. Could you hook that up? Last edited by crackberry420; 12-03-2007 at 02:57 PM. |

OK - we just posted a channel with all of Biodiesel.org's Retail Fuel Sites. We'll update it shortly to search for the closest one. For now, you can find them by state or zip and choose Menu -> 'click to call' to phone them. Also - someone requested the BC Ferry schedule. It is up now as well. Choose it and type any ferry stop or stops. Anybody else have a channel they would like? Last edited by ggcespia; 12-03-2007 at 04:52 PM. |

We had a request for the USNews.com Best Colleges 2008 list - including detailed information about each school - it has been posted. You may search by major or school name. e.g. "pur" will find Purdue University or "comp sci" will find shools with Computer Science degrees. Keep the requests coming - thanks! |
