I personally have not purchased the full product, and I steered ppl away from doing so because I could never get in contact with CodeCannon. Either way, CodeCannon lives!!!!!!!!
(for some reason thats just fun to say, its mysterious and funny, I might just even change my signature to that....lol)

Came across this thread today - not sure who said I skipped out and don't have a valid email account - it has been active for years and is still active. I have been answering customer service emails - usually only get a couple a week. Ocasionally I check hotmail spam filter but not always - if you use AOL or comcast then for some reason hotmail labels you as spam.As far as some blackberrys freezing - it is probably the same problem I had with Sprint/Nextel - they have a bug in their firmware wrt exception handeling so I end up having to write a special version to code around that bug. I tried working with Sprint/Nextel, provided reproducable test cases and bug was never fixed. It works in the simulator as others have mentioned but the phone is buggy, so what I can do to fix it is somewhat limited.

No problem, I would love to hear if there is a major difference in the full product versus the demo. It's just so wierd that I have always been able to use Blinkberry on all every 8100 I have owned in the past year. (4 total, three of those were refurbs)

I still cannot for the life of me figure out why it works on some BB's and not others. I am not sure if its specific carrier reasons perhaps. I am wondering if it has to do with current OS running on a BB, since different carriers usually have a different OS on a device

The application isn't worth purchasing. It only changes your LED while your in the program. As soon as you close the program it doesn't work (it goes back to your default phone setting). Thats why people use it as a flashlight. You put it as a convenience key and have instant access to a light but as soon as you exit/minimize it is gone.

hey thanks!! I'm glad I didn't buy it.........it makes sense that most people are using it as a flash light cuz it does work well for that!!

Oh well.....maybe the developer can figure out a way to make it even better!!!

I don't know anyone who has actually purchased this app,
I believe it does stay on when exiting if you buy the full product. (i think)

    Re: Blinkberry!!

I have a Sprint Pearl2 8130 with the new 4.3 OS and the program only works while the application is running. As soon as you close it out there is no led of any color blinking. I don't think it is compatable with the new 4.3 OS. Is there anyone with the new OS that has gotten it to work?

    Re: Blinkberry!!

juboci..........The app (full version) allows you to set the blink times and colors..and they run in the background!! SO...the full version is cool, I purchased it a couple of weeks ago..and I love it!! If you got the demo to work, the full version will do all that its supposed to
