I was able to get vlingo on my phone using the OTA Downloader. This program makes it so much easier and convenient to get OTA-only apps on your phone.
the second version will include a build in Device simulator, so you will just be able to select from a dropdown what device you want the ota downloader to simulate and it will allow all downloads from websites which check your browser

Copy or move the files to your BlackBerry's microSD card (using USB, Bluetooth, e-mail, FTP, ...). Using the RIM Media application, Explore to the .jad file -- initiate the installation by launching (Open) the .jad file.

Some forums view this app as a medium for piracy, but it definitely has legitimate uses -- one can backup installation files that are only available OTA.

I have never and will never repost someone else's theme/themes. Before I was banned I did download the pimpberry storm theme I just want to install it, enjoy it, and delete the file from my desktop. Does any one know how to get the cod files on my 8700? the guide on the site isnt to clear how it says use "media manager" + I tried app loader and its askin for the .alx not the .jad or .cod Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Host the two files in a single directory on a personal web server. Navigate to the .jad file using the Internet Browser on the BlackBerry. Bing! Install it!

No. Look at post #24, where it tells you how to install without a data plan.
