Blackberry Messenger

Sweet program, available for over-the-air downloading off of a blackberry at www.blackberry.com/messenger.
similar to other instant message programs, it works only with those with Blackberries, it allows for group chats, sending pictures and more.
Fun times, worth a try.

BB messenger is a fun app an great for meeting new users. I'm a frequent user an I love making group chats, mind you I've had it installed 4 days! Lol if you have messenger, feel free to add me, would love to meet you

I agree. the messenger program is great for keeping up and networking with other users.

Just yesterday I chatted with someone that had a quick question about, ironicaly, BB messenger. We were able to answer his question in minutes.

Very cool tool!

I have someone I've been chatting with over messenger and he had to uninstall the program because he thinks it was blocking his incoming mail and messages.

Short version - installed BB messenger on his t-mobile 7230 and it was working fine. Started noticing that he wasn't getting any mail and that status of his contacts in messenger was wrong. Did a hard reboot by removing the battery and got a flood of mail and everyones status in messenger changed.

Anyone have any insight into this? he unistalled messenger and I don't think he's having a problem anymore. The funny thing is that he's shown as available in my messenger list even though he doen't have the app installed.

BB Messenger is missing the feature to find friends with common interests. May bee an idea for PinStack to set up a Database.

My interest are BB, communication in general, golf.

Welcome to the site.

I too enjoy golf, my bb and communications. I think the chatting and IM programs for the BB are going to explode with users and availablity. I'm currently using 3 myself.

BB messenger for PIN messages

Ramble for AIM

IM+ for AIM, Yahoo, MSN, ICQ, and Jabber

Very nice to be on the go and still be able to IM and have fun.

I love the BB messenger, it gives the BB a "fun side," since BB's are mostly related to secure government workforce.

What is Jabber?

it's a messenger software similar to msn messenger. used a lot in business enviornments too.
