    Blackberry died ...? Help!

So I just downloaded the new 4.5V of the Desktop Manager from blackberry.com.

I was trying to load some new themes and remove a few apps.

And then the blackberry shut off and won't come back on again.

I tried to take the battery out and put it back in... but that didn't work.

No it won't turn on, only blinks red.

    Please help.

Does desktop manager say it is connected?

Suggest you download the device operating system and install on your desktop and attempt to reinstall on your 8310. Links to download as well as instructions can be found in my blog (click below)

no.. i doesn't say anything.. it keep saying it's disconnected.

is there a way to force it to come on? bypassing the power button.. or a combination of buttons to turn it on..?

If it says conencted and lists your PIN then it is connected. You need to reinstall your device operating system.....

constant looping? Wow, i think you bricked the phone. Try to connect your bb without battery, if it is detected, quickly attempt to reinstall a firmware
