Question Best shared calendar solution with wireless sync???

OK i have tried just about every method of syncing with the blackberry and the only thing that actually works is tethered outlook <-> device.
My wife and I use Airset primarily for shared calendards. I can sync airset to outlook and then outlook to my device. This works fine for the most part (categories get lost)... I've looked at google calendars, funambol solutions, somet other stuff and I just can't seem to get something that works. everything has some weird issues with recurring appointments or categories or syncs everything twice or deletes what it shouldnt etc.
soo...
is there any one solution that will let me have a calendar that is accessible online, is shared and can be wirelessly sync'd to the bb without loss of corruption of data? (i'd like this for contacts too but that's not updated nearly as often in my family so it's not as big of a deal).

I use Google Calendar Sync (http://www.google.com/support/calend...y?answer=89955) to sync my Outlook to my Google Calendar. I then use Google Sync on my Blackberry to Sync to my Google Calendar. It's FREE and it works great.

I have had nothing but problems with google. I will have up to 4 entries of the same calendar item. Or it has been moved days and/or times. Or just plain deleted. I finally gave up. I rely on my calendar way to much to have it all jacked up. BlackBerry Unite is gonna be our dream come true.

I have used Google Calendar with my Outlook and BB with very few problems. I have had occasional multiple entries for the same event but nothing too difficult to deal with.

You can always give our service a shot. Found at http://www.thinkpost.net.

It is based on the Funambol solution, but redesigned to work with our servers and with a bit more functions. We do support Shared Calendars. Hope that helps...

BB OS 4.5 will support multiple BIS (personal) email calendard...I use GMail and Google Calendars are available online. Before this can work the carriers need to update their BISs to include this feature and one would need 4.5 OS (not out yet)

you services looks interesting and the price is decent, but then I havent had very much luck with funambol - I recently tried it with funambol.com and I got duplicate entries, and any contact with an ampersand in it (like "John & Jane Smith") would convert the & into &
These kinds of things are totally unacceptable for me so I keep looking...
I don't quite understand why contact/calendars are so hard to sync... I do get some of the issues being a programmer by trade, but then there are standards like iCal and vCard ...

Hey Fiddler. What did you think of the sync real quick? Did it work for you?
