    BerryTunes Question

    Hello,

My name is Christian and I'm new to PinStack.

I'm using an 8700G running on a corprate BES.

I have downloaded and unzipped the Berrytunes application.

I have a folder on my desktop with the .alx & .cod install files.

When I attempt to install the software with Blackberry Desktop manager (v. 4.0.1.12) I get an error:

"No ADDITIONAL APPLICATIONS DESIGNED FOR YOUR HANDHELP WERE FOUND".

I checked and I have the Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1.

    Any help would be great!

    Thanks,

    Christian

Welcome to pinstack. Sometimes it is required to have the handheld software installed on the same computer for it to read the cod and alx. Do you have that installed.

    Thaks for the reply!

I upgraded my BlackBerry Desktop software to v. 4.2.0.10.

    That fixed the problem!

    Thanks again

    Re: BerryTunes Question

Starting with Desktop Manager 4.2 I think it is no longer required to have the system application files loaded on the desktop in order to be able to install applications.

There *might* be another condition, such as the system software might need to be above certain version as well, but I am not aware of such limitation.

In other words, if anyone else is getting this message they should be able to work around it by simply installing Desktop Manager 4.2 or later.

At least that's what we tell our customers and haven't had a problem yet.

Have you tried the LexSpell spelling checker for Blackberry?
