Did it? I'm not sure. I'm on TMO so is anyone having issues with the SMS alert on TMO? I guess Azstar is on Alltel so then if anyone is having issues on either networks then it could be...if not then I'm still thinking it's a application conflict.

Okay, I found it in the Reply to Enter and it does say that it depends on the carrier, but it is odd that TMO and Alltel would prevent it. I'm on VZW and so far all my different alerts are working.

Hope you find out what the situation is.

Only problem I've noticed is that this app may have made my cortado sms stop functioning...

It just doesn't want to inable itself anymore...

Well that's you and me so far, although I doubt it's a carrier issue. I haven't been able to trouble shoot yet. Will keep you updated though, if I find anything

Although my trial may run out before finding the issue

If its a carrier issue, debranding will get rid of it... But that should be last resort...

Gettong rid of the vendor code...

I have an etisalat branded nold and the gps wouldn't work on any non etisalat released OS... After debranding it, I was able to use my gps and am running .244 successfully now...

So the way I see it, since any particular carrier can't really control your sms notifications, it could be the carrier's hardcoding in the device that may be preventing that... Debranding will get rid of that...

Mine's vendor code 1 now... And the device now boots with a rim splash screen instead of the normal "etisalat" screen...

Well this is a great idea but the light doesn't stay on.. that's a killer for me.

Looking forward for updates.. this app is definitely staying on my phone, but unfortunately disabled for now..
