Re: Berry-a-Code: Free App

It seems like the common theme is users with an 88XX BB. I am working on a fix and should have an update by Monday. I wish there were easier ways to debug, but I appreciate anyone who can send me logs + BB Model + OS Version + Carrier.

The simulators can only go so far and I only own a few BB's.

Thanks for the support. If anyone wants to try an new build next week let me know and I'll send it to you before we post to the public.

Otherwise, sit tight. I appreciate all the good (and bad) feedback.

Re: Berry-a-Code: Free App

1. Clear your event log (ALT-LGLG)
2. Make a call to your BB from a # not in your address book
3. Let it ring a few times and make sure the city/state isn't showing
4. Go back to event log (ALT-LGLG)
5. "Copy Day's Contents"
6. Email to me (eric at pintsizedapps dot com)

I want to fix t his quickly so I appreciate the help.

Re: Berry-a-Code: Free App

I'm interested in running a beta on my 8800 - PM me if needed.

This is yet another app I have been hoping for since jumping the Treo ship. With DDH Software releasing HanDBase recently and DataViz working on Docs to Go in the near term, my transition is getting easier and easier. Thanks for your work.

Re: Berry-a-Code: Free App

Here is the direct link to the app. Try this: http://www.pintsizedapps.com/ota/BerryaCode.jad

I can also make the desktop install version available. Please let me know if people need this.

Re: Berry-a-Code: Free App

Thanks bberic for the direct OTA dl link. I was able to dl sucessfully, however it doesn't work for me. I made sure I went into options to enable it and did a battery pull and ask a few ppl to call me. I am on TMO network and running the latest at&t .101 OS.

Re: Berry-a-Code: Free App

Pls disregard my above post, I forgot it only suppose to display the orig of cities for #'s not listed in your ph book. It work as it should. Thanks again. I missed this service with sprint in which it list the orig of the call regardless. Thanks again.

Yeah, now if someone could just develop a program that causes the blackberry to randomly freeze up, and require soft and hard resets, my transition will feel complete!

(ex Palm user, never had a Treo, so I'm speaking more about the Palms)
