Mine isnt working at all. I hate it
This is my Blackberry. There are many like it, but this one is mine. Without me my Blackberry is useless. Without my Blackberry I am useless.

I dled Berry A Code thru the BB simulator then backed it up to ALX form so I could install it on my real BB. PM me if you want it.

Hey buddy man! Go to the app in ur phone and make sure the options are set to on. I been able to get it to work on 7100, 8130, and my 8330 flawlessly.

I think since updating my OS to 4.5 I haven't noticed that Berry-a-Code isn't running in the background anymore.

When I try to run the program I get an "Uncaught exception" error. I was wondering if anybody else is still using the app on OS 4.5?

I only recently put it on one of my BB's (OS 4.5.0.102 on an 8100) and it is running in the background...but I haven't got any calls from a different area code since putting it on so I don't know if it's working properly.

I'm assuming you've already set permissions to allow for the app itself, but you can also try setting the permissions for the Email Setup Application to allow, or failing that, try enabling your firewall if it isn't already.

Premier, it is working fine for me. I do have my email setup applications permissions set to allow for a different program from OS 4.2 days that was causing problems so that might be allowing Berry-A-Code to work for me. Did you ever get it going?

No it still isn't. Where can I find that email setup option? Otherwise, I have all Berry-A-Code options set to Allow.

    Go to Options> Advanced Options> Applications> E-mail Setup Application> menu key>
you won't see edit permissions, pick edit Default Permissions>
note what they all are so you can set it back the way it was if this doesn't solve your issue, then set them all to allow>
If that doesn't work try uninstalling Berry-A-Code and then reinstalling it with the permissions for the E-mail Setup app set to allow first (mine had been set to allow before installing Berry-A-Code).

I didn't see it first here, but here's a PinStack link which gives some info regarding this fix
