The .JAD file (and link) are for an OTA (Over The Air) installation. Use your BlackBerry's Browser, click the Menu button and select Go To... from the menu and enter the link manually.

    You can also go to:
    http://blackberryforums.pinstack.com/blog.php?b=322
(again, on your BlackBerry) and find it in my Version Tracker list.

lol ok got it. Just found out that my BB brouser works just as well as my laptop's. Sorry for being in the dark ages m8ties for a year (had an LG shine - you can imagine my frustration with almost a thousand contacts in my list).

    Big thanx!

Can the icon on bb weather change to mimic current weather conditions? if so, how do you set it up to do that?

No it can't. Try WeatherBug Direct - also on the Mini Version Tracker list:

Is there a free program, or one that's not quite so expensive?

Dload WeatherEye... it's free and can update as often as every 15 or 30 minutes...

It also displays current weather condition as the homescreen icon with temp

I've tried this one, but aside from the obnoxious, SLOW "carousel" interface, how come when I ask to have the temperature displayed in Fahrenheit it displays the wind speed in KPH instead of MPH!

Also, it doesn't display the temperature on the Home Screen icon, although it does change the icon to indicate the current conditions and the temperature as part of its name when the icon is selected. It only goes down to 30 minute updates which is certainly sufficient, but WeatherBug will go down to a battery draining five minutes, and has great granularity on Weather Alerts.

I definately prefer WeatherBug and BBWeather.

I know this thread is old, but just got this installed on my bb again. Just installed version 0.83, I was surprised to see homescreen icon options. Now the icon can reflect the temp, conditions, or temp+conditions. In other words don't even have to open the program to check stats. How nice.

Tateu over at BlackBerryForums is making some GREAT improvements including the one you just mentioned, in addition to getting hourly updates, ability to change font, and more!
    BB Wishlist:
-Gmail BIS integration with an effective 2-way read/unread sync solution.
    -More capable integrated alarm.
