Dude great insight and great looking site! Ok i am new to this so hope to get some help. My desktop manager is version 188.8.131.52 and i cant seem to get the BBWeather.jad file which is 943 bytes installed on my BlackBerry 8800. How do i install it please?
The .JAD file (and link) are for an OTA (Over The Air) installation. Use your BlackBerry's Browser, click the Menu button and select Go To... from the menu and enter the link manually.

What link my friend, im sorry but im starting to sound stupid. When i click on the OTA it opens a page to down the jad file on to my pc. The download manager does not see the file and i dont see a link to insert to the BB manualy

lol ok got it. Just found out that my BB brouser works just as well as my laptop's. Sorry for being in the dark ages m8ties for a year (had an LG shine - you can imagine my frustration with almost a thousand contacts in my list).
Can the icon on bb weather change to mimic current weather conditions? if so, how do you set it up to do that?
No it can't. Try WeatherBug Direct - also on the Mini Version Tracker list:

It also displays current weather condition as the homescreen icon with temp

It IS free!

I definately prefer WeatherBug and BBWeather.
I know this thread is old, but just got this installed on my bb again. Just installed version 0.83, I was surprised to see homescreen icon options. Now the icon can reflect the temp, conditions, or temp+conditions. In other words don't even have to open the program to check stats. How nice.

Tateu over at BlackBerryForums is making some GREAT improvements including the one you just mentioned, in addition to getting hourly updates, ability to change font, and more!
