BBScanner: Listen to Police & Fire Scanners On The Go

Hi Guys,
Has anybody heard of this? I just found out about this now.It does not work for me,i get a error message.

I just downloaded and installed with no issues on my 8330 running 4.5.0.160. You might check your settings or try to delete and reinstall.

Yes it works on my 8330 but sadly you can't listen to police scan in Canada as it is digital encrypted. This app would be nice if they would add Air traffic control. Nice to sit @ airports and listen to what planes are landing or taking off.

I just installed and it seems to be working well w/4.5.0.127. It gives me an option for air traffic in some U.S. locations but then says scanner is offline.

well maybe thats why mine wont work.i have a 8330 curve v4.3.3.127.but i thought it says it works on the 4.3 version. i did pull the battery and i did reinstall it again and nothing,still get the same error message!

I have a 8320 here in Bermuda and it don't work here.

I just read through the support forum and didn't see any mention of what OS were supported. You might be out of luck with 4.3. You can use the web updater here and upgrade to the latest OS from your Carrier. It is very simple and painless plus it will give your 8330 more features.

Sounds like a good app. It's illegal to have a portable scanner in your car in Minnesota. I'm going to try it.

BerryScanner has a forum (http://www.berryscanner.com/forums/index.php)
Maybe you can find out there why it's not working and
if not I'm sure they will help to get it working for you.
I have it installed on my 8330 and it's working great.

Works great on the 8900. In the 20 minutes I listened, two juveniles got arrested for assault and a noise complaint turned into a warrant arrest. Tee hee. I love it! I wish city scans were an option also. I can only get county sheriff.
