Is this going to be a google-sync type app that syncs RTM tasks with the native BlackBerry tasks, or a full-fledged stand-alone app? Either way I assume it will stay in sync with the web RTM? If the latter, please make sure they implement some type of notification system, either via pop-up window similar to the native BB tasks, or even a small icon in the notification area, ala Facebook for BB and similar apps (and preferably integrated with Profiles).

I have a BB Pearl 8100 OS 4.2.0.67
I've just signed up for RTM after hearing about it SO many times on Lifehacker, but didn't want to manage it on my phone AND online! Sounds like you're offering the perfect solution..

I'll hold my hand up to volunteer for testing if it's going! Otherwise do keep us updated on developments here, if it's as good as everyone seems to say it is it'll certainly be worth upgrading to Pro!

Excellent, although with this version we're developing you won't have to upgrade to the Pro version, testing has not started as of yet but we're hoping to begin an ALPHA version tonight just a very small group as the application develops further we will invite people to the BETA release, but we will keep you posted here don't worry. And again let me reiterate, this application will be a stand alone application that will sync with Remember the Milk online and it will be completely FREE, yes zero dollars.

Rtm seems to be developing at a pace that leaves the competition behind, great integration with gcal, gmail, google gears and now the holy grail of a native blackberry app, I have one huge, huge, huge request, please make this work over BIS as well as TCP. Other suggestions are, keyboard shortcuts and add task from email, these are great bberry tricks. Cheers, good luck and if you need beta testers count me in.

Hey Will, thanks for chiming in, yea the application is going to use the internet connection of the blackberry so it will work on BIS and you can already email task into RTM, just go to RTM on the web, settings and you'll find your specific email, create a contact on your address book, I call mine rtm and then just fire off tasks on the fly, its so sweet, use the subject line of the email for your task and paste the following template on your body:

Priority:
Due:
List:
Repeat:
Estimate:
Tags:
---
-end-

Copy it exactly as I have and you'll could put whatever list you want, due date, tag, etc. Is way cool, let me know if you need further help with this, cheers

For the template, this is my way of setting it up, go to autotext and create a new one, I call mine tt and use specified case and paste the template, cheers
