    innocent,

To take care of this error you will need to download and install your device operating system on your desktop. Post back if you need help or have questions.

You can download the newest version of handheld software here:
    https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads/browseSoftware.do
Once it downloads (slow) make sure desktop manager is closed and run the file and it will install on your desktop. After that sync your device and it will tell you that you have a newer version of the software on your desktop than your device, and it will ask you to follow the steps to update your device.

    innocent,

Take a look in my blog. You will find links there to the device software by carrier as well as the "latest" device software for you device. If you do not want to "upgrade" your device software, look under your carrier and you will most likely find the same version as you see on your device under Options - About (3rd line down). Once installed on your desktop the "no applications found" errors should stop.

Also in the blog is a nice "how to" if you want to upgrade your device Op Sys.

On you computer, go to Control Panel and then to add/remove programs......look for Blackberry....There should be two there.

    1. Blackberry Desktop Software

    2. Blackberry Handheld or Device Software

    Does your computer list both?

When you download the zip file to your computer, are you unzipping/extracting all files or just the .alx? You need to make sure you unzip all the files in the downloaded folder. Once you do, there should be a .cod and an .alx file for that game or theme. When you open the appliction loader you will only be adding the .alx, but it needs the .cod to be unzipped as well.

If the entire folder has been extracted and you still get the no additional applications message, check the list of applications in the Application loader, see if maybe the application is there, but just waiting for you to put the check mark to install it.

If these suggestions don't help, post back again and maybe someone else will have another idea.
