Has anyone on a BES installed AudioPOP? This message comes up when installing the app. on the desktop.

It's telling me that Access Denied: Insecure SSL Request. In more info
it says Your MDS has been configured to deny SSL requests to servers
that have certificates which are untrusted or expired. Try using Device
Side SSL in your TLS Options. .

    Any suggestions?

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ Since its BES I would guess the problem would be that the administrator has locked that feature.

I am not familiar with the app, but I agree with Skip, you can control a lot using the policies on the BES. If the app can be configured to use the internet browser instead of MDS, it may work. I have configured other apps this way. But as I said, I am not familiar with the app itself to know if its possible.

Is this program needed for the pearl since it comes with voice recorder which also plays back audio? I downloaded and can't seem to figure out how to use it. Any step by step assistance?

This program is a little more difficult to set up than a regular application. You need to go into the instructions, I believe it was a pdf file in the download and it will guide you through the process.

You need to set it up in options - audiopop. It works with a gmail account, you put in your username, password, server for gmail is pop.gmail.com and port is 995. SSL/TLS Connection needs to be checked and Direct TCP if you are not on BES.

I believe you have to enable pop on gmail... I think that is everything...

You have to send the correct type file one at a time via email.

I don't think you can save the mp3 as a tune... just download and play it.
