No, you use to be able to get the free version from the magmic website, it was the full version except for the online play, hence why it was a free version. It was like a trial but without a expiration. But sice THK3 was released I don't is THK2 on there website anylonger...

Make sure you un-install the new versions. And you dnload ver 2 from the classics. I seem to remember it starts like a trial, but never expires. ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

im thinking the same thing on the trial for 2
my husband has had that on his pearl (and actually even transferred over during the switch device to the 8120)

so maybe even tho it says trial, it just won't ever expire?
