| Application advice
Hello All, I am very new to the BlackBerry, especially any sort of development for one, but I have the following task to complete.... I wonder if anyone here could give me a few pointers?... *please* Basically I need to do a application that in effect just evokes the BlackBerry Browser to go to a URL passing the PIN on the query string. I was wondering if the above is possible or do I have to go about writing Java to connect to the web sever, download web page content, interpret the HTML.. etc, etc... I am a Perl developer and have never done Java before, I have downloaded the dev stuff from RIM and have had a play about, but so far I am struggling to find a quick solution to what seems to be pretty straight forward task. Sorry to just bust in for help, but we all got to start somewhere Hope you can help, kind regards, -Ben |
