i have managed to download it, but when i try and log in, it says that my handheld is not supported. Im running os 4.5.0.37 on the 8120 - i downloaded it from www.blackberry.com/instantmessaging - must be that you can download it, but cos i have a hotmail a/c that is hotmail.co.uk, it doesnt like it ! - Im in the UK so that might be something to do with it as well. Its just lying dormant on my menu now as i cant use it and i dont want to delete it as it took me bloody ages to get it there !!!

i cant get it from that site. it tells me my device is not supported not matter what i do..

i tried on 4.2 and on 4.5 and still no luck i need the actual INSTALL file.

    but thanks for your help

I think you might be able to retrieve the alx/cod file if you go backup/restore in DM and get the msn messenger application on its own

and then post it here for me

it is supported by my provider (Rogers) but i dont have a true BIS/BES data plan..

so i need someone to either send me the service books for rogers or give me the actual install file alx/cod
