Can't find a third party or access it through the browser. If you don't like the your server's AIM that uses SMS, I think I remember reading something about Jive Talk being an IM that consolidates Yahoo IM, AIM, MSN, all that good stuff

There is a fix for it in the Yahoo 2.0 thread. Thanks to wonderful at&t policy, we have to load service books from another carrier to get them working.

no, I tried it with Verizon and did not work for AIM, MSN, or ICQ... seems only Google Talk and Yahoo work for us right now

At&T has their own IM called OZ that can be accessed through the wap browser. It uses text msg ing instead of data, and isn't the best program anyway. Unfortunately, the only really good answer is to pay for Jivetalk. No one wants to pay for something that can be used for free, but there is nothing that is really any good for free and Jivetalk works perfectly.

Here is the link to the forum topic with the service books needed to get Yahoo messenger (among other things) working on a at&t Blackberry.

JiveTalk is what I use and absolutely love it! You can get it OTA at beejive.com and you get 30 days for free. It uses Data not sms text messages. And after the 30 days if you pay $30 you get it for life even if you change cell phones.
