AOL Instant Messanger is not available for BlackBerry devices.

There are many other applications available:

JiveTalk - GREAT APPLICATION [($19.95), (Also assuming you have a data plan)]
Ramble IM(Free)
IM+
OZ Instant Messanger(Per SMS....ewwww)

Actually depending on your carrier you can use RIM's AIM from blackberry.com/aim/

I am using it on my pearl with tmo as we speak, but there is a little bit of work around involved. Personally I like RIM's better than any 3rd party as I ONLY use AIM and prefer to stick with RIM if at all possible.
