The guys from Aerize just let us know that E-mail Alerts just got an upgrade (Free upgrade to current users) to 1.2.0 and the features just keep getting better.

Aerize is one of my favorite applications for my berry, since it lets me preview my messages even when am in the middle of using another application, if the message seems important I can choose to read it or keep doing whatever am working on. Some of the new features that the press release mentions are:

It doesn't work on the storm. Email popups won't show and you get a popup of garble when you get a visual voicemail. Access to sms when separate inboxes doesn't work either as they stated (on any blackberry).

According to another forum, they are aware of it. It's too bad. I personally use peekawho, but like this interface more. Maybe us storm users we'll see another update next week.

Aerize version 1.1.2: Device Wake functionality is enabled by default for Aerize Alerts. Is there a way to DISABLE the device wake feature? I hate my BB waking (lighting) up EVERY time I receive an sms or email....
