Despite handango saying PD is compatable with the 8830, and others here saying it is, as well as PD customer support am having issues. I bought it for my dad, and of course am now having problems.

text messages don't show right away in PD (takes 10-15 mins to show); after I delete it in the BB mail folder it still appears (after the long delay) in PD, and after deleting it in PD, the actual msg disappears but a space exists as if it is still there;

Moreover, speed dial doesn't set, when I click on the contact it takes me to the phone number but on pressing the number I get standard BB options but none that allows me to set it to the speed dial using the PD program.
