    8330 Management Software

    OK Folks,

I admit that I am new to the new Blackberry game. I just provisioned a new 8330 and my IT guy who ordered the phone for me lost the software install CD.

First of all, is it worth installing?

Secondly, our Blackberry server capability is limited. I have no meeting requests that actually hit my calendar without some sort of middleware and sycnch from my office PC.

I see that 8330 Sprint software v4.3.0.127 is out there (though I cannot find a place to download it) is it worth exploring?

    All input is welcome.

    Johnny,

    Welcome to Pinstack!

The Desktop Manager software that was on your CD is available for download from RIM. Click on my blog for the link. It will allow you to sync your BB with Outlook contacts, calnedar, etc if you use these....

The device software you're going to need to download, otherwise when trying to install applications you're going to get an error. So definitely download it.
