Hi,

I am new to this, so bare with me.

I am trying to update my Desktop Manager for my Blackberry and have ran into a problem. It says that my Roxio Media Manager can not be found as it installs. I tried to follow the steps on Blackberry's website, but it didn't seem to help. They said to go to the Hex File and delete them, which I believe I did. Still no luck.

I have tried to uninstall the program through ADD/REMOVE programs and it won't let me b/c it says that a program is installing.

Anyone out there that can help??

I would appreciate it!!

Michele

So I installed the new 5.0 OP from Verizon's website and now my memo pad and Task's applications are no longer on my phone. Before I installed the new software I backed up my phone first and then after I installed 5.0 and did a restore there was an error message saying calendar couldn't sync or something like that but no error messages about memo pad or task. Is there anyway that I can get memo pad and tasks applications back?

Ok,
Another office BB issue. The employee phone does not turn on. But the PC recognizes it in USB. Normally this is a wipe and reload the os situation, but I need to do a backup first. The DM does not see the pin so the backup options are greyed out.
Is there any way, (3rd party software?) to connect to the phone to pull the info off? Can I get the phone to connect in the first few seconds it connects via usb (like with the apploader)?

Thanks,

I dropped my bold into a vat of oil causing some major damage and until USPS brings me a new screen and keyboard, I am having to use a pearl. I can't handle the freaking keyboard on the pearl. I don't know how people use it!! When I did the device transfer feature in the DM, the address book will not transfer. It says something like the device is setup for wireless sync, or wireless update. How do I undo this feature so I can transfer all my info? I searched and searched, but I don't have a week to wade through the plethora of info on this site. Keep in mind, I cannot read my screen on my bold at this moment. I am sick of not being able to screen my calls!!!!

Thanks in advance!!

It looks like the less than a month old Desktop Manager for Mac has already received an update.
What does that mean? Well we're not totally sure as there is no updated changelog posted yet for 1.0.1 at docs.blackberry.com. But we do know the first build had a few bugs left in it. If you find something different be sure to leave a comment and let us know.

I have been uploading things to my BB via Desktop Manager just fine but recently it has been trying to update my BB with 4.7 when I have the storm which already has 4.7. It won't let me upload anything else because it says there is not enough space due to the fact that it is trying to upload this 4.7 OS that I already have. I uploaded 5.0 Desktop Manager and that still didn't work. Any ideas?
