I was just curious what program does everyone use to make their themes for the blackberry pearl 8230?? I own Adobe CS4 and noticed one of the programs that came with it is called Device Centeral... and I will be learning Flash next term. I messed around with it for awhile but didn't quite understand is there a different program or is that the one? Can anyone help me out. I would love to learn how to make themes and I am a quick learner. I know alot of HTML coding and I am in Intro to Proggraming class at the moment... didn't know if any of that knowledge will help me but thought I would put that out there.

I am building a new theme with the Blackberry Theme Builder and am having a weird problem on my Storm. I have a full screen banner with the clock and date near the bottom of the screen. A large square portion on the screen seems to activate the clock when pressed. I have other icons and hidden buttons in that section but they seem to all be covered by the clock button.

I have gone back into composer to make sure that the clock button is not too big and it is only the size of the clock text.

Any ideas out there?

It has been frustrating as one on the button it covers is my button to bring up the hidden dock, so I've been going over my svg code for the last 3 days wondering why my hidden dock won't appear, and final realized it was this stupid clock preventing the button to be focused on.

I was wondering if it is possible to create a button in cp that will open directly to your pictures screen, or to a specific folder on your sd card?

i'm thinking this would involve finding the "net_rim_bb_..." loader files that correlate to (the native picture reviewing system at least) and for the specific folder on the SD card, creating a third party app button and then typing in the system directory in the space for app name (ex: SD Card/Blackberry/ Media/ Pictures)

anyone ever tried this? i thought it was jscroll but im not sure how to do it there.

One on the bottom and one on the right side. I... So I have created a theme with two hidden docks. One on the bottom and one on the right side.

I have everything working perfectly except for one little kink. In theme builder I can put all the icons for the bottom dock in the bottom focus spot on the navigation screen (my profile icon is in the middle) and it allows me to have a scrolling bottom dock that will allow me to exit back to my profile icon no matter where I am in the bottom dock. For some reason though, it only allows me to place one icon in either of the side focus spots, preventing me from accessing the other icons in my second hidden dock.

I can give you an svg that I tried to get the 2nd and 3rd row thing to work, but none of the icons are on my homescreen when I open in simulator.

I'm thinking 3 panels. The Right Panel is composed of 12 icons. The Center Panel is a few icons, weather, and today elements. The Left Panel is a Messages/Calendar Today Panel.
