Hi Guys,
i use my berry for music while i cycle to work every day and want to use my Motorola S9 bluetooth headset.
This headset works fine on both my Sone Erriccson and my girlfriends Nokia, but for some reason it cuts out all the time when using on my berry.
I have recently updated firmware to OS 4.6.1.310 and it is still the same on this. It is really frustrating and wired headsets work fine, but i would prefer to use wireless.
Has anyone else found this problem, does anyone know of a solution.

Any help would be great.

Cheers,
Mark

I know I can crop and zoom and what not, but it is 100 times faster on the PC, so then I could just download them into the memory card and set the up a lot faster into my contacts....
thanks

Okay, is there an app out there that will lets us do the following?

Upon plugging in the 8900 to the computer via micro USB, or alternatively via bluetooth, see some sort of PC GUI interface to the 8900 where:

1: I can type/edit strait into my memos
2: check phone logs
3: add contacts
4: etc, etc, etc, etc ;)

Many times I find a phone number, address or something I found out googling and need to go out, and take that info with me,and for now I have no hope but to just have to type all this info into the phone before I go. Not so good for the 21 century!

I just feel that by now, upon plugging the 8900 to the computer I should have the capability to access the phone completely thru the keyboard and screen of my computer where it is plugged into.

If this does not exist and you program it, give me some of the royalties! LOL. :D

how to Stop Previous owner messages

So I bought a previously owned 8900. Pretty nice shape. It was just fine and quiet as it charged up. I put in my sim card and soon enough messages start to come in.

To be sure, they were messages intended to the previous owner.

By logic, I can only assume they are being sent to the PIN of my phone since the phone number, and the sim card are my own.

What do I need to do to get these to stop? I am very pessimistic about finding the previous owner for help. So, that could be left out as a solution.

As an added bonus question, I know someone with the some problem with one more level of difficulty. His phone was bought here in the US but now he is in another country and algo has this problem! If the PIN is the culprit, it works worldwide, I assume.

Any thoughts will be greatly appreciated thanks!

Just got an 8900 a few days ago.

Here is the problem I am having...

I have my BES account, and two other personal e-mail accounts pushing to my BB. With my old Curve 8310 I had no problem having a different sound for each email account.

With this phone, under the Normal profile when I change the Ring Tone for "Desktop" it also changes the ring tone for my other e-mail account (not both, just one of them). This makes it so my BES e-mail alert is the same as one of my personal account, PITA.

I attempted to delete the e-mail account in question and re-add it. Same issue. Any ideas?

Serious Fault with Browser since Update - Please Help !

I want to flag up an issue since the recent update of my BB 8900 software. I am on the O2 network...

I want to flag up an issue since the recent update of my BB 8900 software. I am on the O2 network in the UK. I currently have Desktop Manager 5.0.1.18 and the BB 8900 is on version 4.6.1.310.

Over the last 2 weeks since updating, I have found that the web browser grinds to a halt when downloading content from normal websites like BBC.CO.UK and FT.COM. There is no problem in connecting to these sites, it is simply whilst Loading Images from the front pages that the BB seems to get “stuck”. The only way out is for me to hold down the Escape (curved arrow) key and close the browser. It is then impossible to move the cursor via the trackball away from the Web icon unless I briefly press the phone On/Off button. Once I have done this, I can move the trackball so as to go to another function (Contacts, Calendar etc.), but if I go back to the Web browser icon and try to connect again, nothing happens. In effect, I now can't really use the internet from my BB anymore. This problem never occurred until the recent software upgrades, my browser was working fine.

From very, very bitter experience, taking this into an O2 or Carphone Warehouse store for a fix is an utter waste of time and sending it off to RIM (= 4 weeks' loss of the BB) is too painful to go through.

Has anyone else experienced this problem and if so, does someone know of a fix ? Grateful as always for any help.
