According to a slide depicting Verizon's internal VZLearn portal showing Pre 2 device training, it looks like the "Last Gasp", aka Palm Pre with WebOS 2 is coming to Verizon. Nothing to report beyond this slide that was anonymously given to our friends at Engadget, but we will keep our eyes open!
