Back pain

Getting old, really is not for the timid. Last Wednesday, I was on a Brushfire call. Jumping out of the back of our brush truck, I landed rough and my back statrted hurting. ( it is an old injury from a car wreck in 85). Well 2 hours later we got the fire out, and I was sore and stiff, but I didn't think too much about it. The next moring I could not even get my socks on, and missed work, Friday was not much better. Saturday I was able to make it to the bathroom all by myself. And Sunday I made it to training. I am still stiff and a little sore.

If there is such a thing as reincarnation, I am sure I have never lived this long before. My mind just can't seem to wrap around that my body will not do the same stuff I did in my 20s. And yet it some ways I can, and have out worked people that are in thier 20s and 30s.
