I love my new career as a financial planner. I get to make money at making other people money--everyone wins and I get to feel great about what I do. No need to slave away at some charity or pour buckets of money into some bottomless quagmire in the Congo or act like the green hippies to masquerade as a good person. Saving people money and making families' lives better is simply the best thing you can do and a darn good living.
