When one is left without the facts, an available choice is pure conjecture. Thus I sit here speculating on just what RIM is up to. Here we have a company that while not perfect, has hit more than it's share of home runs. A world class company. A company with a string of successes that continues today. Thus I wonder, just what _is_ happening with the BlackBerry Bold in the USA? Rumors abound. Speculation runs rampant. Just what are they thinking? What are they doing? Models like the BlackBerry Flip
As I sit here BlackBerry in hand, writing this blog entry on my Curve, I'm feeling a bit concerned regarding RIM's reputation. Here we have the worlds number one leader in handheld smart phones for the business community, struggling for the first time in such a dramatic way. The eyes of the world on them as they continue to delay the launch of the much talked about Bold. Their flagship model for the future. Right, wrong, or otherwise, it's being compared relentlessly to the iPhone which is a creation
Six reasons I'm looking forward to 10/6/08
It will be:
1) A Monday
2) A Funday
3) A Milestone
4) A Mistake
5) A Breakthrough
6) A Bold Day
Well fellow Stackers, today is THE day!
And just what day is that, you ask? It's the day that I hit the wall so to speak, with all the delays in regards to getting the bold released to the public here in the good old USA. Typically I'm a very patient person. And yet, we all have our limits and while I'm not certain that I've hit mine, the day is drawing close. At this point the luster is wearing off the Bold for me. The "excitement" has waned and I'm beginning to wonder if
I'm such a mobile phone enthusiast that at any given time (with all due modesty) I have 30 or 40 phones. I buy many branded phones from AT&T or T-Mobile, as well as unbranded, unlocked phones direct from Hong Kong. It's why I maintain a minimum of two lines, one with AT&T and one with T-Mobile. I've got the latest phones from RIM, Nokia, Samsung, O2, Vodafone, Sony Ericsson, LG, Apple, HTC, Sharp, Ben-Q, Siemens, NEC, Motorola, Wind, Philips, Sagen, etc. I'm not bragging, it's just a matter
I was just reminded by fellow Stacker ranxoren, of what two people working together can accomplish. For those of you who have read some of my posts, or Blogs, over the two years that I have been a proud PinStack member, you know that I'm a particularly positive person that loves to help others. So when the shoe is on the other foot and it is I, that is looking for help, it's very gratifying to have someone like ranxoren, step up and provide the exact help I was looking for.
Ahh... it's Saturday morning and I'm sitting here, Starbucks in hand and reflecting back on the week. Thinking about all of the typical elements that make up my day to day experience. Thinking about this tech world we live in so filled with acronyms. Acronym, defined by the America Heritage Dictionary as: A word formed from the initial letters of a name, such as WAC for Women's Army Corps, or by combining initial letters or parts of a series of words, such as radar for radio detecting and ranging.
Due to mitigating circumstances I have been away from the PinStack community for several weeks, and it's great to be back!
There is a certain bond that exists in this community that is a cut above the other forums I have participated in. So much so, that I chose over a year ago, to make PinStack the _only_ BlackBerry forum I participate in. Giving back to this great forum brings a great sense of satisfaction, as without the participation of each and every one of the experienced users

This is my favorite financial no-app.
No memory leaks, no battery drain, no learning curve, no endless data entry, just pure fun.
What? The BOLD is delayed? Surely you jest…
Not that we don’t _already_ know the definition of this word, but just for fun here is the exact definition from Dictionary.com
–verb (used with object)
1. to put off to a later time; defer; postpone: The pilot delayed the flight until the weather cleared.
2. to impede the process or progress of; retard; hinder: The dense fog delayed the plane's landing.
–verb (used without object)
