Technology Anxiety

Living in the "Information Age" sure has it's benefits. More and more content is becoming accessible via mobile devices. I think it's safe to say that in a lot of instances we "expect" certain sites and services to be available to us.
Living in the "Information Age", when all of the technologies that exist today, also can create a lot of anxiety and pent up anticipation.
For example.....reading through the forums it seems there are a fair number of us that just can't wait to get the new BB devices that are going to be released. I just got my 8830 last year; it's not even one year old, and I can't wait until my carrier releases the BOLD so I can get one!
Another example is the now "not until September" release of OS 4.5. With the BIS maintenance completed last weekend, those that have the newer OS are wowing us with all of the new features, trying to decide if there are 3rd party apps they can unload now, since those features are included (voice recording, html email, etc.), and probably spending more time per day looking at their Berry than they really should (and if I had it already, I'd be one of them).
How do you handle all of the anxiety over where, and when, and how much, and all of the other questions that keep racing through our minds?
If I knew the answer, I wouldn't be writing this blog entry. However, to borrow a line from the infamous Dr. Phil, if you find yourself dealing with these same issue, remember these six words, "You need to get a grip!".
