"BlackBerry Slogans" a Success!!

Posted 02-15-2008 at 10:09 AM by EB

So I get an email on Wednesday from a member of a site (similar to PinStack) saying "everybody loves it" (referring to the BlackBerry Slogans Wanted thread).
The email included a link to their site where many of our slogans have been copied and pasted into their own BlackBerry Slogans thread.
Check it out.

Posted 02-06-2008 at 11:44 AM by EB

Ok so its obvious that the BlackBerry provides a broad range of services to a myriad of people. So let's see how many cool slogans we can come up with:
I'll start with mine,
"BlackBerry...A Solution
Everything Else is Just A Device..."

FOX Series "Moment Of Truth"

Posted 01-30-2008 at 10:27 PM by EB
Updated 01-30-2008 at 11:27 PM by EB

So I'm watching FOX's new series: "Moment Of Truth" and **choosing words wisely** it appears that this show (in essence) pays people to air their dirty laundy and free the once dormant skeletons in their closets. As a result the contestants are publicly humiliated by the shocking truthful revelations of both their past and present, as they (the contestants) walk away with potentially large sums of money. My question is should the winner feel good about coming clean only "for the money"?...

Updated 01-30-2008 at 10:56 AM by EB

Having placed a distant third in the six primaries thus far, it has been announced that John Edwards will drop out of the race for his party's nomination in a press conference on January 30, 2008 at 1:00 PM EST.
Fast Facts:
1. Edwards had previously vowed to remain in the race until the 2008 Democratic Convention
2. Has earned 62 delegates, trailing Obama with 158 and Clinton with 232
So why is he relenting? There has been some talk about him joining the Obama camp. ...

On Black History Month...

Posted 01-29-2008 at 12:09 AM by EB

Black History Month is the successor to Negro History Week which was initiated on February 12, 1926 by Carter G. Woodson, a pre-eminent historian and founder of the Association for the Study of Negro Life and History.
Woodson was concerned that the contributions of Black Americans were overlooked or misrepresented and he began lobbying for Negro History Week as early as 1915. He selected February because it included the birthdays of Abraham Lincoln (February 12) and Frederick Douglass...

Is it REALLY necessary for guys to use "pick up" lines when asking women out?

Posted 01-26-2008 at 07:57 PM by EB
Updated 01-30-2008 at 10:54 AM by EB

I've never bought into the idea that guys need to use "pick up" lines to open a conversation with a beautiful woman. It has always been my opinion that using "corny one-liners" is just an attempt to mask one's inability to confidently start an interesting conversation with someone. The irony is that it seems more and more that some women prefer this. Am I wrong or are "pick up" lines making a comeback?
